Robert has worked with a variety of languages and technologies over the years. Initially starting out as a developer for a financial data company, he moved on to working with Python for several startups. He's worked as a software engineer for Global Radio and Glasses Direct where he later became Head of Technical Operations.
Robert was also Chairman of EuroDjangoCon (2009) and DjangoCon (2008, 2009) which were, and still are, incredibly successful conferences. He was also the founder of DJUGL (Django User Group London) and dedicated most of his time to the open source community.
Always happy to challenge the majority when it seems as though they may be wrong, Robert cuts to original solutions whilst never re-inventing that which can be found ready made.
